These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website temptagsdirect.com (the "Site"), our customer portal at temptagportal.com, and the temporary vehicle tag and vehicle registration services provided by Temp Tags Direct ("Temp Tags Direct," "we," "our," or "us") (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Site or the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or the Services.
Temp Tags Direct provides administrative and processing services for temporary vehicle registration tags and, in select states, full vehicle registration. We act on behalf of customers to prepare and submit registration paperwork to the appropriate state Department of Motor Vehicles or equivalent state agency.
We do not issue government documents ourselves. The validity and enforceability of any tag or registration is determined by the issuing state agency.
The Services are intended for business customers, including fleet operators, dealer groups, auctions, online vehicle retailers, rental and specialty fleets, and logistics operators. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the entity you represent.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information when submitting orders, including:
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. Temp Tags Direct is not liable for delays, rejections, or registration errors caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent information provided by the customer.
Pricing is volume-based and customized for each customer during onboarding. Pricing terms, including per-tag fees, expedited fees, extension fees, and any other charges, are confirmed in your customer agreement or written quote.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers are billed weekly. Payment is due each week and is processed via:
Late or unpaid invoices may result in suspension of the Services until balances are resolved.
Once an order is submitted, processing begins immediately. Cancellations are accepted only if the order has not yet been processed. Refunds are issued only when an order has not been completed and submitted to the issuing state agency.
Once a tag has been issued by the state DMV, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
If a tag is lost or stolen after issuance, the customer should contact Temp Tags Direct with the VIN and a brief description so we can make a note on the order. Temp Tags Direct does not issue replacement tags for lost or stolen tags. The customer remains responsible for any further compliance and may need to submit a new order.
All tags issued through Temp Tags Direct are real and registered with the issuing state DMV. Each order ships with documentation explaining how the tag can be verified by contacting the DMV directly. Temp Tags Direct does not affiliate with unauthorized operators or websites that issue fraudulent tags.
Customers and drivers are responsible for using the tag in accordance with applicable state laws. Temp Tags Direct is not responsible for citations, fines, impoundments, or other enforcement actions resulting from misuse of a tag.
State coverage, processing times, expedited options, and tag duration depend on the rules and operations of each state DMV and may change without notice. Stated turnaround times (such as same-day or 1-hour expedited) are estimates based on historical performance and are not guarantees.
The customer portal at temptagportal.com is provided for order submission, account management, and communication. Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their portal credentials and for all activity that occurs under their account.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of access without refund.
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Temp Tags Direct or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of this content without our prior written consent, except as needed to use the Services as intended.
Customer business information (such as fleet size, volume, pricing terms, and customer lists) shared with us in the course of providing the Services is treated as confidential and is not disclosed except as needed to perform the Services or as required by law.
THE SITE AND THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEMP TAGS DIRECT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME WILL BE ACHIEVED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEMP TAGS DIRECT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST REVENUE, WHETHER ARISING FROM CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY THE CUSTOMER TO TEMP TAGS DIRECT IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Temp Tags Direct, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use or misuse of the Services, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) inaccurate or fraudulent information submitted to us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by email to active customers. Continued use of the Services after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with any signed customer agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Temp Tags Direct regarding the Services.
